Bountiful Brushstrokes Demonstration, individual guidance and free exploration - Discover rich possibilities of 4 basic brushes.Learn how to transfer your persona & body/hand posture into the execution of brushmarks for each brush type.

Assembling your Composition   Through a unique process that Gail has developed, you can create your painting plan by using component parts. ie. using separate images of flower heads on clear vinyl, you can arrange the positioning of objects to make an attractive composition.  Then transfer the image to your watercolor paper.  This is a kinesthetic approach is great for students who have a challenges envisioning a composition, by allowing them to "play" with the options.

Using Musical Elements and Concepts in your Paintings  There is a strong connection between good musical compositions and good painting compositions. Learn how to use elements such as crescendo, staccato, solo voice, harmonic layers in your art.  We will also explore our painting response to different types of music to engage our bodies into our brushwork.
